Our Process: from log to finished product
We take pride in crafting premium cedar products from start to finish. Our process begins with hand-selecting the finest logs, which are then meticulously cut for optimal recovery through our sawmill line. Uniquely, both our saw milling and product construction occur within the same facility, ensuring great quality control. This results in manufacturer direct pricing, timely delivery of beautiful, durable products made to last.
Our Process
Our process starts with our people. We believe in creating high-quality cedar products that look great and are built to last, this begins with investing in our team through training and development.
Every day, everyone has a 15 minute morning meeting, where we stretch, review safety topics and learn together as a team. We then spend 15 minutes doing "3S" which is sweep, sort and standardize. Sweeping is cleaning but cleaning to inspect, sorting is removing whats not needed in the work area and creating standard is making or improving the location of a tool or creating and improving our visual standards of work.
That's right, we spend the first 30 minutes of everyday not producing lumber or products. The results are a safe, highly efficient workplace where our employees love to be!
Step 1:
Arrival of Raw Material
Logs enter our facility, and we match your order specifications.
Step 2:
Lumber Production
We cut the logs into lumber, kiln dry it and run it though our planers.
Step 3:
Product Manufacturing
The lumber goes directly to our customers or to our team of carpenters that use the latest woodworking technology to create our fencing, gazebos and other products. The products then get shipped anywhere or installed locally by our team.

Cedar Fencing
- Material: Full one-inch thick 5/4” kiln-dried cedar
- Styles: Solid panels, heavy duty lattice, tongue and groove, horizontal, custom styles
- Standard Sizing: 6'x8' our panels are a full 6' high
- Gate Construction: 2"x4” framework and bracing, screwed for superior strength
- Service Areas: Material supply anywhere; installations in Kamloops and B.C. interior areas
Log Gazebos
- Log Posts: 8-14 inch diameter for superior strength
- Railings: 5-6 inch top and bottom rails with 3 inch spindles
- Roof Construction: Sizes vary from 2×6” to 3×6” depending on gazebo size
- Roofing Options: Metal or cedar shingle
- Customizable: Various sizes and shapes, pre-stained finishes available
- Installation: Can be installed on a cement pad or cedar floor
